Dance Attire

JAD Dance Attire Requirements


All Classes:

·          Hair must be pulled off face and in bun.


Creative Dance and Ballet/Tap:

·          Black leotard with no sleeves or short sleeves

·          Skin toned tights and skin toned ballet slippers with skin toned elastic

·          Black ballet skirt allowed

·          Black low-heel tap shoes with black elastic when applicable

Hip Hop:

·          Any colored top

·          Any colored bottom

·          Jazz boots or jazz shoes


Jazz:

·          Black leotard, short or no sleeves with black leggings, tights or biking shorts

·          Black jazz slippers, boots, or jazz sneakers

·          Black Jazz tie-skirt allowed


Modern:

·          Black leotard, short or no sleeves or unitard

·          Black tights if wearing black leotard

·          No shoes


Conditioning Classes:

·          Comfortable fitness wear with yoga slippers




JAD Dance Etiquette

1. Dancers should arrive 5-10 minutes prior to class.
2. Wear only approved dance shoes inside dance studio
3. Refrain from bringing food or drink inside dance studio. Exception: enclosed water bottle
4. Clothing: Maintain a clean and neat grooming, including footwear. Damage dance shoes not allowed.
5. Hair: pulled off of face, and in bun for all technique classes.
6. dancers shall always conduct themselves with respect.
7. Dancer shall demonstrate respect for other students, parents, and teachers
8. Dancers are role models in every aspect of their lives.
